Academic Staff Vacancies Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has over 30 academic staff and modern laboratories in mechanical/mechatronic engineering. Applications are invited for Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer (Tenure - Track) and Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) positions. Applicants should be registered or eligible for registration with the Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka. Excellent communication skills are required.

Senior Lecturer

A recognized undergraduate honours degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and a 2-year research-based master's degree in a relevant discipline are required. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years work experience after receiving the undergraduate degree.

Lecturer (Tenure - Track)/ Assistant Lecturer (Temporary)

A 1st or 2nd class honors bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a pass in bachelor's degree with one-year master's degree in a related area is required. Applicants for Lecturer (Tenure - Track) position must have a minimum of one year work experience after the undergraduate degree.
