Assistant Category Manager

The selected candidate will be responsible for,

• Assist the department in developing monthly marketing activity planning, evaluating and reporting.
• Optimize and manage the sales targets.
• Maintain a productive relationship with vendors that are mutually beneficial.
• Manage vendor management, pricing, product assortment planning & inventory control.
• Safeguard and maintain strategic margins assigned to each category.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Business Administration or Business Management from a recognized university / Graduate Diploma of Institute of supply and material management or Post Graduate Diploma in Supply chain (ISCEA) or equivalent.
• Professional qualification in CIPS (UK)/ SLIM or CIM
• Minimum 5 years' experience in managerial position related to any part of supply chain.
• Financial knowledge related to this field is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Category Management / Total Supply Chain management.
• Should have strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent people relationships skills.
