Assistant Engineer Engineer Automobile

Macksons Tiles Lanka (Put) Ltd, the largest floor tile manufacturer in Sri Lanka and a pioneer affiliate of a diversified business conglomerate, Macksons Holdings, invites applications from dedicated, qualified, self-motivated and dynamic individuals for the below position;

Job Profile: will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, handling troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximize reliability and functionality. He should have a good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles and should have excellent problem solving abilities.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Degree/B. Tech in Automobile Engineering.
• 5-7 years' experience and knowledge of repairs & maintenance of all types of vehicle, commercial and heavy vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
• Self-motivated and dedicated team player with a great attitude and the passion and persistence to drive for excellent results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Good leadership qualities, excellent team player and ability to motivate team members.
• Be a highly motivated professional with the ability to take ownership and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test drive vehicles and check for faults.
• Develop calibration methodologies, test methodologies, or tools
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
