Scope

The ideal candidate will be handling business legislative matters, employment related legal works and legal contracts/ review government regulations pertaining to the government and regulatory bodies.

work with Human Resource Department in order to implement employee branding strategies and its action plan. This will include working as point person for the management to create content, media for communication & promotions of employee engagement internally and externally.

This person will be working with Group Human Recourse Development & Operational HR teams in order to shape up the social media content in order to promote and engage employees and other stake holders whilst jointly reporting to Group Manager - Human Resource Development and Head of Finance

Job Responsibilities

  • Drafting/reviewing legal agreements, contracts, documentation on
    correspondence and accurate maintenance of all legal records and documents
  • Work with Group Manager - Human Resource Development in setting up the company employer branding strategy.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures for communicating on behalf of the organization that represents the corporate identity, and Employer branding including promotes and supports the organizations mission.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication
  • Setting up the corporate communication cell in all plants and work with them to cascading the corporate communication initiatives in plant level.
  • Oversees the workflow and work assignments of the communications team to ensure effective collaboration among team members and consistent, quality work on every initiative to produce Materials
  • Prepares and distributes Social Media posting and publication of the company promotions and Creating, Updating and maintenance of Company Web site, Social Media Accounts and all publication on company behalf.
    Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organization including the launch of new products, special events, local and global community service, and other topics of interest.
  • Responsible for drawing CSR project plan for Jay Jay Mills and implementation of the same. And work with Group Compliance/HR/Sustainability to implement CSR projects.

Requirements

  • Preferable with a legal and media background with highly versatile set of communication skills.
  • LLB and/or Attorney-at-Law / Bachelor's Degree in Communication/Media
  • 2+ years of working experience in Legal team of a multinational company
  • Possess excellent skills in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Superlative communication skills in all forms in English/Sinhala or Tamil will be an added advantage.
