RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the creation and implementation of business plans and expansion initiatives.
- Foster a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth by helping to manage and mentor the finance staff.
- Perform financial reporting, including group reporting, on a weekly and annual basis.
- Assess the need for working capital and help implement methods to balance funds and requirements.
- Execute financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting procedures.
- Encourage resource efficiency and optimization in these processes.
- Analyze variations and keep track of financial performance.
- Assist in tax payments and paid them on time with proper planning.
- Ensure adherence to accounting rules and reporting specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or ICASL.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Over 5 years' experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Experience in the leisure sector is preferred.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and business intelligence to support data-driven decision-making.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills in Sinhala and English.
