Assistant Manager - HR & Administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff. Handle employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the showroom, including inventory management, supplier liaison, and customer service excellence.
  • Showroom Supervision: Regular visits and supervision of our Anuradhapura showroom to ensure smooth operations, adherence to company standards, and staff support.
  • Strategic Input: Assist in developing strategic plans for operational activity and contribute to broader business planning.
  • Independent Leadership: Ability to work autonomously and make decisions that align with company goals and objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Age below 45 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven 05 years of work experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a retail or showroom setting.
  • Dynamix individual with experience in handling, payroll, administration, recruitment, employer branding, legal proceedings etc.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Anuradhapura.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Quick learner with excellent knowledge on HR practices and Sri Lanka Labour Law.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written in English & Sinhala.
