Assistant Manager Learning and Development

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

  • Responsible for smooth functioning of training operation at UTE Learning Center
  • Liaise with trainers, technical departments and external organizations and propose/design new training program for UTE as well as for the industry based on demand
  • Monitor and improve the standards of the program in the portfolio and lead new program development in a commercially viable manner while conducting some of the program /subjects

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or equaling qualification
  • Minimum two (05) years' experience in a similar job role
  • Knowledge and experience in curriculum development and conduct new technical training/educational program
  • Liaise with government institutions and foreign delegates and internal departments on compliance to lead training and educational activities
  • Professional attitude with ability to work under pressure with Business Mindset and importantly achiever of business goals with high level of people skills
  • Excellent Computer skills in (office packages/email/online interactions/LMS) and Language Skills in English and Sinhala (report, proposal, analysis, forecasts)
  • Knowledge about construction machineries will be an added advantage
