We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager - Treasury to join Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and the iconic Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort will be added to its portfolio in the near future. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed Conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
The Assistant Manager -Treasury, will be responsible for identifying funding needs across Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts and assisting the CFO in developing the optimum funding strategy, evaluating funding proposals, and monitoring compliance on conditions upon approved funding. The role will have to liaise closely with business units on their foreign exchange requirements while monitoring the group's foreign exchange positions and reporting the exposure to Group Treasury. The ideal candidate will ensure timely debt servicing, optimize the mix of liquidity and short-term investments returns, and provide future cash flows. Must have the ability to initiate process improvements within the Treasury team and introduce new electronic banking platforms to the organization.
