Assistant Manager Treasury Back Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all transactions originating from Treasury Front Office and allied work process are completed with a minimum time gap
  • Settlement & confirmation messages should be transmitted on time with zero errors
  • Maintain zero back valuation and late payment charges
  • Ensure positions, securities holdings are balanced with GL and revalued
  • Ensure GL accounts pertaining to Treasury are balanced
  • Ensure that day-to-day operations of the department are executed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Identify process improvements / enhancements, process refinements and recommended changes deemed necessary to the Management
  • Strict adherence to the compliance and statutory requirements
  • Hold accountability for execution of the "Operational Risk Management Committee" terms of reference

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified in Certificate of Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations conducted by ACI or Certificate in Treasury and Foreign exchange operations conducted by CBSL or Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management conducted by Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
  • Preferably a degree holder or a qualification in ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Possess minimum of 5 years working experience with minimum of 2 years exposure as executive in the Treasury operations, preferably in the Banking industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at figures combined with speed and accuracy
