Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated young individual with a drive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Train, develop and manage restaurant staff, including conducting performance evaluations and scheduling shifts
  • Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers, including overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement new food items, combos and attract new customers and increase sales. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fast food or quick service restaurant management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Familiarity with restaurant software and technology, including POS systems and inventory management software.
