Associate QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review requirement specifications, understand the requirements, and provide meaningful and timely feedback
• Create well-structured and comprehensive test cases
• Prepare test plans
• Provide input for test estimations
• Prioritize and perform quality testing activities
• Report issues and prepare bug reports (using JIRA, Mantis)
• Provide input for QA release note
• Provide input for test artifacts
• Maintain test environments
• Automate regression test suites
• Perform usability and performance testing

Qualifications

• A commonsense view of the world, with a strong end-user perspective on software apps, acquired through personal use of web and mobile apps
• 1+ year experience in test case writing, test planning, testing, and issue reporting
• Experience in test automation (Selenium/Meter)
• Experience with Agile Scrum) development methodology and defect management tools like JIRA.
• Strong Communication Skills in English
