Category Manager - Luxury Range

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our dynamic team at Lassana.com. As the Category Manager - Luxury Range, you will be responsible for managing our entire range of luxury products. You will work closely with our suppliers and vendors to source, negotiate and manage the product range, ensuring that our offering remains fresh and competitive in the market.

Job Scope

• Develop and implement the overall strategy for the luxury category.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to source, negotiate and manage product range.
• Manage the product life cycle from ideation to launch, to ongoing sales and profitability.
• Analyze sales and market data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations and customer service to ensure the best customer experience.
• Ensure that products are launched on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, and ensure that they meet our requirements for quality, price, and service.
• Manage the inventory levels for the category, ensuring that stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.

Pre-requisites

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Passionate about ecommerce and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
