Responsibilities
- Manage the GM's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations as required by the GM.
- Act as a point of contact between the GM and internal departments, external partners, and agency teams, facilitating clear and timely communication.
- Arrange travel logistics including flights, accommodations, and itineraries for the GM and other team members as needed.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, conferences, and events related to business development initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of reports, data analysis, and documentation related to agency channel performance.
- Support the GM in tracking and managing projects, ensuring milestones are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new team members, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the Business Development department.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights for business development strategies.
- Ensure all activities and processes adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Completion of a Management degree or any insurance qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
- Experience in insurance industry will be an added advantage
