The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) is the leading Business Chamber which serves the Exporters of Sri Lanka and also represents them with relevant state authorities. The Chamber carries out many activities to promote exports from Sri Lanka. These include foreign trade missions, advisory services to members, providing country of origin certificates to exporters, conducting seminars and workshops, recognizing outstanding performance of Ex- porters through the annual NCE Export Awards, representing members at discussions with government policy makers, publication of "The Sri Lanka Exporter" quarterly journal etc.

We are looking for a young, dynamic and self-motivated professional with the right attitude to support our vision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing secretarial support to the CEO in an effective and timely manner and dealing with the daily correspondence
• Planning of Logistical Arrangements for Chamber events and Event Venue Management and coordinating with other relevant parties
• Manage, Organize and maintain CEO's Diary. arrange new meetings and appointments
• Media Coordination- Creating opportunities for Media to get interacted with the Chamber
• Documentation Management, Procurement Management
• Arrange meetings, prepare agenda and taking down minutes of the Meetings.
• Coordination of all Chamber events and publications
• Able to work under minimum supervision/ independently, while also working as a team member.

Key Requirements

• Academic Background with G.C.E A/L (Secretarial/ Administration training will be preferred)
• Fluency in English (Spoken and Written) - Fluency in Tamil language will be an added advantage.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities and Negotiation skills
• Computer literacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Work experience in similar capacity will be considered as an added advantage.
• Holding/held office in Societies / Associations / Clubs / Welfare organizations will be an added qualification.
• Experience/knowledge in social-media will be advantageous
