The Job :

The person will be responsible for functioning of the Customer Service Unit, ensuring that all walk-in/digital customers are handled effectively and efficiently, providing exceptional service while adhering to the company's guidelines and Service Level Agreements within Life Ops. This role will entail handling all claim inquiries, including surrenders and loans, as well as policy servicing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Part Qualification in SLIM / CIM / IASL or Diploma in Marketing or Business Management from a recognized university / institute
  • Overall Knowledge and experience in Life Insurance
  • Fair understanding on regulatory framework of Insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office packages
  • An excellent command of the English & Sinhala language. Fluency in Tamil language will be an added advantage
  • Possess good telephone ethics and customer service experience
  • Thorough Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Principle Accountabilities:
