Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm with the team for new design concepts and conceptualise visual illustrations based on the requirement.
• Be involved in the long-term strategic planning process of the communications team and contribute towards the goals and initiatives.
• Research new design trends or graphics and constantly brainstorm for new and innovative design ideas and pitch them to the team. Must take responsibility for proposing the new idea utilizing existing campaigns/projects as case studies.
• Independently plan and design concepts with the information provided by the communications team when and where necessary.

Requirements

• Must have a diploma or a graphic design degree. Other design degrees in visual communications or media will also be suitable.
• Work experience and exposure in the design, marketing, media, or communications industries will be an added advantage.
• Able to work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign applications.
• Basic photography skills.
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). Sinhala and Tamil language (verbal and written) proficiency will be an added advantage.
