Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor & Prepare monthly Financial Statements /Reports, daily liquidity position and manage funds & expenses to minimise the financial cost to the company.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of an effective financial accounting function in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Ensure proper business governance and business compliance; Liaising with financial Lanka Customs, and other external institutions.
  • Review tax returns and other statutory legal documents in ensuring compliance with internal/external financial and accounting policies, standard & procedures.
  • Manage key functional areas of Administration & Human Resource Management.

Required Competencies

  • Be an associate member of ICASL, CIMA, ACCA or CMA.
  • Be a holder of a degree in Accounting & Finance or Finance and General Management.
  • Possessing at least 5 years of relevant experience with minimum of 2 years in Senior Executive Capacity is an added advantage.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and good communication skill with positive attitude.
  • Ability to perform multitask duties and a very good team leader.
