HEAD OF FINANCE

Sumathi Information Technologies (Private) Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Sumathi Holdings and commenced business in the arena of computer networking & data communication in 2001 offering total ICT solutions under one roof. We are looking for talented and motivated individual who can lead the financial operations of Sumathi IT (Pvt) Ltd.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support business decision-making and drive growth.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to maintain financial stability and meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align financial goals with operational strategies and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

• A member of CA/CIMA/ ACCA with a degree in Finance/ Accounting from a recognized university.
• A Master's in Finance/Accounting is preferable. Proven track record of at least 10 years in financial management, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the IT industry or related sectors is highly desirable.
