HR Relationship Manager

The Job

  • Oversee recruitment on behalf of the business managers and participate in the selection process to ensure that the business manager's selection decision is fully informed.
  • Arrange for business level induction and onboarding of new staff to the business.
  • Identify business transfers and support the business to facilitate the same.
  • Provide competitor/peer intelligence on labour market practices, design solutions together with business and HR leadership and execute successfully.
  • Maintain Organisation Structure and business critical data.
  • Design, execute and drive employee engagement interventions together with the business and HR leadership.
  • Facilitate good employee relations practices and ensure that all employees comply with the organizational policies and procedures
  • Manage retention at industry benchmark.
  • Identify the training and development needs of the business and ensure the delivery of the same.
  • Track and maintain key metrics and advise the business and leadership of outcomes.
  • Be the single point of contact for the business in relation to all HR related matters.
  • Work with the rest of the HR team to ensure excellent internal customer care is provided.
  • Ensure the performance management process is followed by all employees in the business (goal setting, self and manager assessments and feedback)
  • Identify poor performers ahead of time and ensure performance improvement plans are initiated on time and track the same with relevant business leaders.
  • Identify high performers and ensure they are recognized and receive the required support to scale in their careers.
  • Build a succession plan for critical roles in the business.

The Person

  • Should possess at least 10 years of experience with a mix of HR and other experience in front-end business.
  • Should possess a degree / relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience in recruiting for Banks and Financial Institutions will be an added advantage.
  • Should be a well-organized, self-motivated, and driven individual.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Possess strong problem solving/decision making skills.
  • It is mandatory that the selected candidate should be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
