Human Resource Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set objectives for the HR team and monitor progress
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Review and implement best practices in conjunction to meet the immediate and future staffing requirements of the organization
  • Enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Ensure HR staff addresses employees' requests and grievances in a timely manner
  • Advances human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulation
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital


  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualifications in Human Resource Management
  • At least 06-10 years' experience in an HR role Knowledge of HR management, policies, and procedures
  • Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations in Sri Lanka
  • Exceptional communication skills in English language both written and spoken is a must
  • Preferred candidates near to Hambantota & suburbs
