Intern - Database Engineer

 Requirements

• Following or completing a degree in information technology, computer science, or any other related field
• Very good understanding of database technologies and concepts
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries
• Willing to pursue a database technology career
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies fast
• Team player with good communication and analytical skills
• Diligence and the ability to meet deadlines

Job Role

• Install, upgrade, maintain, and migrate database systems on-premises and in the cloud
• Responsible for database cloning, patching, backup, and recovery activities
• Responsible for database-related daily monitoring activities
• Frequently communicate with team members during solution development to review progress and ensure that requirements have been met
• Participate in technical meetings, requirement gathering, analysis, planning, development, and testing
• Responsible for bug fixing, adding feature requests, enhancements, and new developments
• Working with Service Request (SR) channels to resolve any database-related issues
