IT Consultant Maldives

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Consultant to join Cinnamon Maldivian Resorts. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 hotels and resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Adding to its portfolio, the much-anticipated project valued at USD 1 Billion - Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, will be opening soon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

Reporting to the General Manager, the IT Consultant will be accountable for executing the system administration strategy to ensure a smooth day-to-day business operation and effective user experience. You will collaborate with Group IT to ensure security compliance and provide necessary infrastructure and application support while adhering to Group IT's IT policies. While actively involved in PC/ Server Patching, you will manage Azure tenant, including SaaS and PaaS. Furthermore, you will Implement and update LOB applications while attending to troubleshooting whenever necessary. While assisting regular infrastructure hardware and software maintenance, the IT Consultant is expected to deliver MS SQL Database Maintenance and performance tuning effectively.

Are you adaptable yet driven to explore emerging technologies? Do you possess In-depth knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems in the Active Directory environment? Are you acquainted with Virtualization, cloud computing, wireless technologies, mobile platforms, MS Azure, SCCM, and Patch Manager console management? Do you have the ability to handle multiple projects at once? Do you have 3 - 4 years of related work experience in a similar role? Are you willing to be relocated to the Maldives?
