Junior Executive Underwriting

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle daily volumes of new business and making underwriting decisions within authorized limits
• Coordinate with Re-insurers in obtaining their decisions on proposed insurance covers
• Ensure the policy issuance process of standard / substandard proposals operate within the agreed service standards
• Carryout sample audits to ensure the quality of underwriting and provide monthly reports
• Effectively engage with team members to achieve the overall objective of the department

Candidates are required to have

• Professional qualification in Insurance
• Minimum of two (02) years working experience in a similar capacity in an insurance company
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
