Lab Technician

Perform routine laboratory and general clerical tasks necessary for daily operation of laboratory. Collects, prepares, cleans and stores glassware and other lab equipment. Stocks and prepares reagents & chemical solutions. Maintain all the required records.

The selected candidate will be responsible for,

• Carryout the laboratory operations on daily basis (raw material test, dispersion & solution test, compound test, preparation of stock solutions, etc ... )
• Supervise the compounding operation at the night shift along with the lab operations
• Maintain the Q/A lab related criteria as per the ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance system
• Any other duties/responsibilities specifically assigned by the superiors

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Passed G.C.E. A/L in Science stream or Technology stream
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as a lab technician in latex testing laboratory.
• Good leadership and good communication skills.
• Computer literacy (Familiar with MS Excel).
• Self-motivated and better team player.
• Maintain positive attitudes.
