Logistics Executive (Male)

We are a well-established freight forwarding & Logistics company in Sri Lanka looking to expand our team with young & energetic individuals who are interested to be a part of a winning team. We are in search of below position.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Plan and arrange imports/Exports in coordination with internal and external relevant parties.
• Ensure the receipt and dispatch as per the company requirement.
• Maximize resource utilization effectively to achieve schedule deadlines
• Ability to train and upgrade skill on " Shipping Team" on continuous basis
• Improve the logistics process under the regulations and company standards.

JOB REQUIRMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reputed establishment.
• Sound knowledge on Trading / Logistics terms (TT/LC), Import & Export procedure documentation , wharf related matters, Formalities & overall knowledge of logistics management
• Oral & writing skills in English
• Computer literacy with MS Office package, ERP systems and be an internet savvy
• Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and other foreign and local authorities.
• Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in supplies and material management from a recognize institution : NIBM or ISMM will be an added qualification
