Crystal Martin Ceylon (Private) Limited is a subsidiary company of the Hong Kong Based Crystal International Group Limited, having 06 apparel manufacturing facilities island wide and providing employment to 5000 employees.

JOB PROFILE

Responsible for monitoring the quality of the food and services and ensure total catering operation of three locations runs smoothly. Recruit and manage staff, plan menus, work to budgets and financial targets and meet food and hygiene standards come within the purview of this role.

MANAGER - CATERING

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Leading entire catering staff members.
• Organizing staff rotations and shift works.
• Ensure to run day to day catering operation in smooth and efficient manner in all 3 sites.
• Monitoring and maintaining quality of food and services provided by the catering team.
• Ensure to maintain the company budget allocation and maintain financial and administrative records,
• Planning menus effectively considering market conditions and costs.
• Manage supplies from ordering point to utilizing effectively.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are strictly followed by self and the catering staff.
• Direct catering staff for periodic health checks.
• Motivate, Train, and upskill team members.
• Reviewing the performance of team members.
• Maintain the standard hygiene level in the entire catering department and kitchen area. (should be neat & tidy at all the times)
• Ensure to maintain department activities and processes adherence to the internal and external audit standards and expectations. (100% audit pass rate in the department)
• Supervise periodic stock counting and ensure accuracy.
• Full focus on all Lean, Continuous Improvement & 6S processes.
• Focusing on Innovation & KAIZEN (minimum 12 Kaizen per year must be ensured).
• Accountable for 100% alignment with related SOPs of the company and work with reporting General Manager for reviewing existing SOP's and designing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the specific field.
• Studied up to G.C.E (A/L) .
• Professional qualification Communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy.
• Proactive
• Team approach.
• Energetic, multitasking individual with planning and problem-solving skills.
