Manager / Executive - Exports

Our client company is a well-established and highly diversified corporate conglomerate spreading over Sectors with more than 50 years of progressive history behind it.

The group of companies is a fully-fledged member of the group providing exclusive solutions for industrial process Heating, Cooling, Automation, Water / Effluent treatment, Chemicals Synthetic MT Fluids, etc. for various industry segments and is looking for the RIGHT person to fill the following positions.

Executive - Imports, Purchasing & Supply Chain

• Fully or Part qualified in Logistic and Supply chain Management, Procumbent or similar from a recognized institution
• Computer literacy with MS Office package ERP systems and Tally
• Prior experience of minimum 2 years in Imports, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain,
• Experience in similar industry/ Engineering will be an added advantage
• Stores and inventory handling
• Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and other foreign & local authorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in both English and Sinhala
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Preferable a male candidate age below 45 years

Manager / Executive -Exports

• Fully or Part qualified in Logistic and Supply Chain Management, Procumbent or similar from a recognized institution.
• Handle and process all imports & Exports documents Application of permits/Costing/Bank documents etc.
• Identify the export and conduct a market analysis of new markets, studying the market in the target country or countries.
• Identify the new markets for exports and develop new business accounts.
• Computer literacy with MS Office package ERP systems and Tally
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with a similar role
• Strong leadership and communications skills, sound business judgments, ability to appropriately involve others in consolations and decisions
• Strong relationship-building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
