Manager - Recovery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in Designing, implement & manage strategies towards reducing the NPCF portfolio of the Bank
• Contribute to the bottom-line by ensuring; Provision write bank, IIS reversal, Reduction credit losses, employing optimal Collections and Recovery methods to reduce cost of recovery through effective and efficient strategy formulation and implementation towards successful Collections and Recovery of Non-Performing Advances
• Review the recovery operational processes to ensure that there is that the unit has a robust process to meet the challenges of dynamic environment
• Formulating workouts/ reschedule /restructurings of overdue & past due facilities to prevent credit losses to the Bank
• Assist in ensuring all processes and procedures are in line with the Recovery Manual, Agency Process and Incentive and in line with all Policies and Procedures laid out by the Bank
• Ensure all MISs and Reporting information are tendered as per management requirement and to meet deadlines
• Initiate mediation board action, Legal Action and Parate Action in a timely manner

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Collections and Recoveries with at least 3 years' experience as an officer with the exposure to Collections & Recovery
• Full / Part qualification in Banking or a Degree from a reputed University
• Previous experience in managing large outbound call centre teams & Agency teams will be an advantage
• Sound analytical, MIS skills & negotiation & communications skills
• Familiarity with portfolio management concepts and the analytical tools needed to perform the associated analyses
• Ability to perform all duties from documentation to procedure by the said individual with minimum support
• Ability to converse in all three languages will be an added advantage
