The Manager Talent Acquisition will lead Talent Acquisition best practices (policy and process adherence) to ensure recruitment and the sourcing and selection of high-calibre talent that supports the delivery of Save the Children strategy of Sri Lanka CO. This role will also support/lead on projects linked to continuous improvement initiatives and the building of strategies, tools, templates, training to strengthen the recruitment and selection process. In addition, the role will oversee the staff induction and exit processes, as well design, develop and disseminate periodical HR reports.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Partner with hiring managers across the business functions to fully understand their recruitment needs and ensure a recruitment campaign and selection process that enables appropriate, successful, recruitments.
  • Promote SCI as an employer of choice by using social media, attending recruitment events, professional networks and job boards.
  • Facilitate JD development, job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing and follow-ups and offers Contributing to workforce planning and talent placement for key positions.
  • Responsible for driving high quality selection processes ensuring SCI safe recruitment standards.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the recruitment & onboarding processes, research best practices and utilize data to refine and improve processes
  • Manage and coordinate staff boarding and induction activities and exist process.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, human resources or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, including recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Prior experience of managing various sources including job portals, references, social media, third-party recruitment, vendor management etc
  • Exceptional networker and relationship builder who will employ creative approaches.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system software is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English, Sinhala and/or Tamil.
  • Willingness to travel across SCI operational districts as and when required.
