Manager Warehouse & Logistics

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

• Overseeing the receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and re-order for replenishment
• Monitoring accurate physical inventory with proper system updates
• Implementing operational procedures and overseeing security operations
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
• Ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations
• Staying updated with warehouse management software and automation solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce errors
• Providing regular financial reports, forecast reports and analysis related to warehouse operations to the Senior Management

TRANSPORT

• Maintaining and updating accurate records of all vehicles and vehicle related incidents including; services, consumable items etc. as per the management guidelines
• Track vehicles and fuel usage and consumption rates as per the company guidelines and ensure that potential fuel misuses are identified and corrective measures are being taken
• Arranging repairs and routine maintenance of company vehicles
• Carryout vehicle inspections & test runs to identify the issues and attend to vehicle  insurance matters
• Coordinate with Government institutions for transport related requirements
• Handle all types of accidents and manage the mini-workshop for minor repairs
• Control the transport department budget while minimizing the cost

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS

• Degree in relevant field or any other similar qualification from a recognized institute
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in a similar capacity, with more than 10 years of overall experience.
• Sound knowledge in handling a computerized inventory control system (ERP) is mandatory
• Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong leadership skill to drive and coach a stores team
