Manager - Operations

The role of the selected candidate would be to improve processes and practices in an operational management system, formulate strategic & operational objectives, coordinate operations to comply with shipment deadlines and other requirements including client specific compliance, and provide management with timely reports. The candidate must be able to lead the operational team, motivate them to ensure export deadline saremet, coordinate regularly with the sales team on changes in the supply chain management, and be responsible for planning procurement activities, inventory levels and warehouse efficiency.

Candidates must be:

  • Be less than 40 years of age
  • A Degree holder
  • Have at least 5 years of proven experience handling operations in an industry, three of which should be in a managerial position, preferably in an export company
  • Possess organizational and decision making skills
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well preferably in all three languages 
  • Be able to work flexible hours
  • Be computer literate

Assistant Manager - Operations

This position ideally will suit an individual with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an export oriented company. The role involves working closely with internal and external service providers, manage transactions and coordinate with suppliers to ensure goods received areas per required specifications and as per schedule, meet deadlines set by the Sales team to effect shipments, handle multiple assignments and can work under pressure, direct subordinates towards maximum performance and maintain records of all transactions including providing management with timely reports.

The candidate should:

  • Be less than 40 years of age
  • Good educational background
  • Have proven work experience in a similar role
  • Preferably be a degree holder
  • Possess organizational skills
  • Have excellent communication skills and can communicate well preferably in all three languages
  • Be able to work flexible hours
  • Be computer literate
