Planning Executive

FERENTINO Tyre Corporation (Private) Limited, an associated company of Ceylon Steel Corporation Limited, is a global tyre manufacturing organization,headquartered at Colombo 03, with the production facility at Wagawatta, Horana, deploying state-of-the-art-technology and innovative technical know-how, to deliver sustainable and world-class tyre products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to create monthly, weekly and daily production schedule of the plant
• Monitor production as per the plan Vs Actual and Analyze
• Coordinate with relevant parties to assure the schedules for fulfillment of equipment's, tools, cleaning and maintenance
• Maintain defined inventory control semi-finished goods (SFG) and Raw Material / WIP supermarket levels required to continue a smooth manufacturing process
• Monthly RM requirement planning coordination with Production, Engineering, Quality & Technical departments
• Responsible to check & ensure RM availability and communicate to production; confirm product master data updated in system (SAP) in order to avoid scheduling errors

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• B.Sc. in Statistics, Applied Science from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Sinhala languages
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office package especially on Microsoft excel & Power Point
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
