PROCUREMENT MANAGERS / ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT MANAGERS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality raw materials
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage vendor relationships 
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to support production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and implement measures to improve quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness 
• Manage procurement budgets, track spending, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and technologies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in raw material procurement
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives and deliver cost savings
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, procurement software, and ERP systems
• Knowledge of raw materials used in manufacturing processes, including pricing and supply chain dynamics
