QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing processes.
• Lead and manage end-to-end quality assurance for our eCommerce websites, ensuring flawless functionality and a seamless user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Testing cloud base applications integrations including API testing and database level testing with MySQL,
• Execute performance testing and basic security testing in the eCommerce environment.
• Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure timely resolution and delivery of high-quality software,
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in eCommerce and software testing, implementing relevant advancements in our QA approach.

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• 1+ years experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile eCommerce applications.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications, especially related to eCommerce testing. 

Added Advantages:

• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks for automated testing.
• Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, specifically in an eCommerce context.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. ., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
