Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc Degree preferably Food Science or Agriculture
  • Experienced & Documentation in FSSC 22000,BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP
  • Monitor, maintain and improve the quality control and food safety systems
  • To ensure compliance with company quality standards
  • Minimum 3-5 years Food Processing and Quality Management Experience
  • Must have the ability to make sound judgment and good decisions regarding quality of product
  • Strong Leadership, Managerial Skills and the ability to coach and develop employees
  • Able to prioritize/adjust quickly to changing work environment with minimal supervision to meet changing plant needs
  • Experience in Spice related industry will be an added advantage
  • Interface with Production Supervisors and hourly employees on production, food safety, quality procedures
  • Responsible for training and professional development of QC Staff
  • Maintain Quality Reporting Systems
  • Provide Training for production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality control groups Training includes but no limited to product quality standards, GMP's, Food Safety Issues, HACCP
