Qualifications and Skills
- BSc Degree preferably Food Science or Agriculture
- Experienced & Documentation in FSSC 22000,BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP
- Monitor, maintain and improve the quality control and food safety systems
- To ensure compliance with company quality standards
- Minimum 3-5 years Food Processing and Quality Management Experience
- Must have the ability to make sound judgment and good decisions regarding quality of product
- Strong Leadership, Managerial Skills and the ability to coach and develop employees
- Able to prioritize/adjust quickly to changing work environment with minimal supervision to meet changing plant needs
- Experience in Spice related industry will be an added advantage
- Interface with Production Supervisors and hourly employees on production, food safety, quality procedures
- Responsible for training and professional development of QC Staff
- Maintain Quality Reporting Systems
- Provide Training for production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality control groups Training includes but no limited to product quality standards, GMP's, Food Safety Issues, HACCP
