R & D Assistant Manager / Manager

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Research and development for new and existing formulations
• Innovative products for new trends to gain new business opportunities 
• Prepare proposals and costing
• Develop material, new packaging methods and designs related to products
• Provide appropriate technical knowledge and work independently toward multiple project objectives within established timelines
• Visit customers to identify new development opportunities
• Develop promotion SKU's with new formulations
• Conduct technical training programs to internal departments
• Preparation of raw material, packing material and product testing parameters
• Manage third party testing mechanism
• Maintain strategic projects & Cost reduction projects
• Propose continuous cost effective and NP generating formulas to be competitive in the market
• To have a seven day minimum turnaround plan to manage crisis related impacts

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• A relevant bachelor's degree or master's degree
• Detergent base R & D background for minimum of 3 years
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Being a self-motivated person
• Having strong interpersonal skills to work in a team and guide with clear instructions
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set targets
• Excellent computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages
