Senior Accountant

Candidate Profile:

• Age below 35 years living in Close proximity to the factory located in Pannala or willing to re-locate closer to the factory.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or management from a recognized university
• Finalist of CASL, CIMA or ACCA or any other recognized accounting body
• Minimum of 8 years of working experience and minimum of 3 years as an Accountant in a manufacturing organization
• Hands on working experience in ERP system especially SAP - B1
• Understanding of Accounting principles, taxation, product costing, investment appraisal and statutory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Plan, guide and direct and oversee all financial aspects of the business.
• Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc financial and management reports on business
• performance, variance analysis & other information flow to the top management
• Timely closure and preparation of financial statements on a periodic basis (monthly, quarterly & annually)
• Timely submission of statutory payment/reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Develop and prepare budgets for the entity considering short/ long term goals and
• strategies and execution of budgetary controls
• Check and authorize bank reconciliation and control accounts
• Tax planning and compliance with tax regulations
• Liaising with auditors and other relevant stakeholders
• Establish an accurate forecasting process to forecast weekly, monthly and annual production requirements to inline with the goals and objectives of the organization
• Evaluation, negotiation and provide recommendations to the management as to the viability and associated risks of new projects, new business lines and business opportunities
• Cash flow forecasting and effective management of working capital and risk. Designing, implementing and monitoring of internal controls to ensure smooth functioning of the processes, while setting up accounting process within operations
