We cater to a diverse portfolio of clients from the US, UK, Australia, Middle East and Sri Lanka.

We are looking for experienced resources to join our team to support on day-to-day administration monitoring of HSSE activities. For a Power & Energy company in the Middle East. This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Our client is a developer, investor and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants with 64 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries, with an investment value in excess 66 Billion .

Job Requirements :

• Final level of CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA or Degree holder in Commerce/Business Management/Finance from a reputed university.
• Have minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity of hands on experience in finalization of monthly accounts
• Working knowledge of Accounting Standards
• Experience working with reputed ERP systems. Working knowledge of Oracle and HFM is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability and willingness to work based on client calendar and working hours
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Age between 25 -40
• Willing to join in the next 1-2 months as an urgent requirement due to expansion.

Job Role :

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes with ownership of Trial Balance
• Prepare monthly financial statements as per deadlines
• Prepare all month end schedules and reconciliations
• Involve in all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P & GL.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Work closely with the Finance Manager / Financial Controller & client teams
• Assist in training of new staff
• Willing to join in the next 1-2 months as an urgent requirement due to expansion
