Senior BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining data models, data warehouses, and databases to support business needs.
• .Creating and managing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into the data warehouse.
• Building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decision-making.
• Optimizing queries, data structures, and processes to improve system performance and ensure data availability and reliability.
• Documenting data models, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer within the team and maintain consistency in development approaches.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of business intelligence and data analytics.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is often preferred.
• Having a master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Power BI in designing and developing complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights for business decisions.
• Solid understanding of BI concepts like data warehousing, OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), and data governance.
