Softlogic's venture into the Quick Service Restaurant business began with the opening of three BURGER KING® restaurants in 2013. Burger King Sri Lanka has since expanded its footprint to 22 other locations across Colombo, Kandy, and Negombo.
 

In 2017, Softlogic Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd., acquired the franchise for Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of specialty ice cream operating over 5,000 parlors in 50 countries with a wide array of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, waffles, and other delicious treats. In 2018, the company acquired the franchise for Délifrance, one of the world's leading French bakery-café-restaurant chains operating in over 340 outlets in 11 countries. Softlogic then moved on to acquire the master franchise for Crystal Jade in Sri Lanka which opened its first restaurant in One Galle Face Mall by Shangri La in November 2019. Popeyes, the iconic global fried chicken brand is the fifth international franchise introduced by Softlogic Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd in 2021. The brand's passion for its Louisiana heritage and flavorful authentic food has allowed Popeyes to become one of the world's largest chicken quick service restaurants with over 3,300 restaurants in the U.S. and around the world.

Job Role:

  • Develop marketing campaigns & promotions to achieve sales targets.
  • The capability of working as a team player with all divisions of the organization in crafting out plans & execution.
  • Post evaluation of marketing programs executed.
  • Study of marketing activities for decision-making purposes.
  • Identify new market segments & opportunities.
  • Capability of working with external parties such as advertising agencies, suppliers, media stations, and other service providers.
  • Obtain consumer insights on the field which are relevant to the industry and organization.
  • Ensure sound documentation processes are followed such as contracts, budgeting, invoicing etc.
  • Thorough planning at the execution stage with new product development, activations, events, outlet openings, day-to-day operations, new brand launches, etc.
     

Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to those who possess a part qualification in CIM/SLIM or a relevant Marketing qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Age of 30 years or below.
  • Should possess exceptionally good presentation & negotiation skills.
  • Should have excellent communication skills both oral and written & must be computer literate.
  • Should be target oriented & committed to achieving targets.
  • Should be able to function independently under minimum supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure with challenging timelines.
  • Should be flexible to work at any given time as per request of the organization
