Senior Designer

SCOPE

The Designer is responsible for design and development of apparel products for the assigned categories/customers, meeting the design, costing and development objectives. Further, the role holder should take the ownership for development of concepts through illustration, photoshop graphics and other design tools as appropriate. Coordinating with customers as per the project plan and providing guidance to the team is an expectation.

Furthermore, the job holder is responsible to execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and presenting new concepts for seasonal product launches to customers through effective product and market analysis
• Coordinating with the internal teams to develop production-feasible designs within the target cost and development timelines
• Collaborating with customers and SMEs, including customer visit management, knowledge sharing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Fashion Designing/ Clothing Technology or relevant
• 3 to 4+ experience in Apparel design & Development
• Be technically competent to work together with the rest of the teams in identifying and finding solutions to the problems faced in the day-to-day operation.
• Possess effective communication skills and an eye for detail.
• Possess a very positive outlook and be methodical and good at prioritizing your work under demanding circumstances
• Knowledge of local Laws and network in the local communities, and Facility Management procedures will be an added advantage.
