Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager - Purchasing

Requirements: 

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company's objectives & budgetary constraints.
  • Identify, evaluate & select suppliers/ vendors based on quality, cost, reliability & other relevant factors.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms & pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the organization.
  • Establish & maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods & services.
  • Monitor market trends & industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings & process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance & operations to ensure alignment activities with organizational goals & requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably in the FMCG.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies & contract management.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors.
