Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for product development in cooperation with the relevant Departmental
- Heads and be responsible for conducting resource, timeline and cost estimates to facilitate informed decision making.
- Develop concepts, products, and solutions by coordinating with the manufacturing unit.
- Manage capacities and resources for different projects and product development.
- Ensure suitable test methods are developed and validated for new and improved products.
- Establish technical information e.g., specifications for raw material, packaging material, finished products.
- Document all phases of research and development.
- Provide documentation to support registration of products with regulatory authority.
- Actively identify project risks, develop options and facilitate decision making with stakeholders.
- Facilitate associate development in various areas of innovation and product development.
Experience
- 3-5 Years of experience in leading an R&D Team.
- Exposure to manufacturing process technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science or equivalent technical field
- MBA will be an advantage.
- Certified Project Management professional preferred.
