The successfulcandidate will be responsible for driving our merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability while ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with design, product development, and sourcing teams to ensure the timely delivery of quality products
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to inform product selection and pricing strategies
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling product presentations and promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Monitor inventory levels and work with production and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals to deliver outstanding results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in merchandising in the apparel industry, with a proven track record of success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functionalteams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software
