KEY AREA(S)

  • Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts.
  • Preparing & Reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, progress claims and payment certificates.
  • Liaising with the client and other construction professionals such as project managers, engineers, consultants .... etc.
  • Handling Monthly progress bills from the point of measuring the work upto the point of receipt of payment.
  • Advising on a range of legal, contractual and sensitive issues
  • Be responsible to ensure that all operations are carried out to control costs, maximizing value, minimizing future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality
  • Provide reports on actual costs vs estimate, identifying underlying reasons for any variance, in particular highlight, challenge & resolve variance to latest plans
  • Provide general forecasting & estimating and performing budgetary controls
  • Any other relevant responsibilities assigned by the top management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS)

  • B.sc / HND or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in MEP Sector is Mandatory
  • Excellent knowledge of cost controlling activities
  • Team Working, Customer Focus, Time Management and Leadership
  • Have the ability to manage a diversified portfolio of clients while working independently
  • Possess technical capability, ability to work under pressure and have a passionate attitude towards work
  • Possess exceptional communication and client interaction skills in the English language
  • Experience in ERP / PMS (Project Management Systems) would be an asset
