Software Developer .Net

We have also positioned ourselves as a major IT services provider to the overseas market with key clients in UK, US, Australia and Japan.

Currently, Evolve is on the lookout for dynamic and professional 'Software Developers (.Net)' for our subsidiary company CN Global (Pty) Limited.

Role requirements

• Technical design and development of .NET-based commercial applications, both backend and frontend, including:

1. Database schema design and build
2. Model, View and Controller design and creation
3. Unit Test creation and Developer Testing
4. JavaScript and AJAX components
5. Structural frontend build (HTML, CSS, etc.)
6. Develop and test by API specification

• Availability for meetings with project teams and co-workers as and when needed during the working day.
• The initial quality and suitability of code developed for the task's requirements. The checking and testing of this code before handing over to QA. Regular code reviews with the Head of Development will be performed.
• Strict management of code and assets using the company code repositories.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent development skills and experience across the most common languages and technologies
• At least 2-3 year's experience of .NET with specialism in .NET and ASP.NET
• Experience of designing, creating, managing and securing MSSQL Databases
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
• Commercial experience of source control methods and software.
• Ability to comment and structure code in meaningful ways that can be understood by other developers.
• Strong English language skills.
• Commercial experience of other technologies such as JavaScript, CSS and Single-Page Applications.
• Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Understand the basic of microservices.
