Software Engineer Department of IT

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

• Liaise with the IT team to implement technical designs
• Research, design and write new software applications
• Enhance existing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Integrate existing software products
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Develop written knowledge transfer material

Minimum Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field
• At least two years of work experience in software development after obtaining the degree
• Experience using .NET technologies (C#.NET, MVC, Web Application)
• Sound knowledge of Relational Databases: MS SQL, MySQL.
• Web Services and APIs : REST, JSON
• Exposure to Full Stack Development
• Knowledge of PHP will be an added advantage
