Software Engineers SE SSE (Python)

We're a Singapore-based technology services company looking for Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers with Python experience for our remote team in Colombo. Your responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and third party systems integration.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
• Meeting with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects.
• Familiar with Agile software development processes.
• Designing software system architecture.
• Developing and maintaining internal software tools.
• Writing low-level and high-level code.
• Troubleshooting and bug fixing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science
• 1-4 years hands-on professional experience with software engineering using Python
• Expert-level Python skills
• Deep experience with a broad variety of web application frameworks is a plus
• Experience in ML and Data science is a plus
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills

Competencies:

• English fluency and a high degree of communication are plusses.
• High level of self-motivation
• Able to set the cadence of communication and responsiveness whilst working remotely
