KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategically manage the assigned area in supply chain operation and ensure that goods and materials are available on time.
2. Properly /Timely plan and handle import-related works. Closely work with HSPL and relevant statutory bodies and clear all import shipments on time and without any demurrage cost.
3. Cost-effective and quality-assured sourcing, both local and international
4. Undertaking training on SAP and SAP-related tasks
5. Maintain up-to-date supplier database in both local and import.
6. Continuous improvement in all areas while preparing and maintaining ISO documentation and practising and implementing 5S in the department.
7. Use good negotiation skills/techniques for competitive prices.
8. Prepare/check and recommend Cusdec’s/customs documents and other documentation related to international trade.
9. Introduce new products and enhance the product range of the company.
10. Preparing monthly cost savings and suggestions for future cost-saving initiatives.
