Systems Engineer Teardrop Hotels

Teardrop Island is a collection of stylish, luxury boutique hotels and villas in distinct regions across the island.

We are looking for an efficient systems engineer to help us expand our computing infrastructure. The systems engineer will be responsible for working with the IT department to design, set up, and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain information security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Liaise with vendors, product evaluations, project management, and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Microsoft Certifications - Certified administrator / engineer
• Knowledge of Networking, PABX Virtualization techniques, azure, Microsoft products, and automation
• Team Player and good communication skills
• Knowledge of web development / App (Flutter) development would be an added advantage
